Margaritos chin?

We all know that his chin was iron, but Mosley cracked it last night.

Now, the point of the thread is. Do you think Margs chin will stay cracked? Or will it still be iron?

I think it may be a bit like Mayorga. Pre-Tito he had an iron chin, never down. But after the beating, and the Knockout loss, his chin was never the same. I think from now on, Margs chin will be good, but no longer great. Also, he probably won't carry the same mental willpower, before he had no doubts about his ability to take puishment, but after this, some doubts may arise.

As I just said in another thread, I doubt that Marg and/or his team would have just decided to do it for this fight. So, I would say they've done it before.....so, I would say he probably did do it against Cotto..

I think his chin is permanently busted. He'll still be able to take a few good whacks, but I doubt it will ever be what it once was. He also won't have all that confidence again, when he's stalking his victim. He lived and died by his confidence in his ability to take a shot. That confidence now, is most likely shot as well.

Regardless of the hand wrapping controversy, a world class chin is a world class chin and Margarito has one. Even today he took a ton of heavy shots before he succumbed.

he still displayed a strong chin tonight, but the problem is that he relies on it so damn heavily. it's been cracked but it's too early to say that it's permanently busted. he's definitely vulnerable to a hard puncher in the future
