Cotto CRACKED Margarito's chin. Look at it, Mosley knocked Margarito out in a fashion NOBODY thought was possible. Did you think it was? Nope, I didn't. I felt fight by fight Margarito's chin would decline and it has. Cotto threw hell of power shots that Margarito now regrets he took. But credit to Mosley [ I WAS GOING FOR HIM WOO ] he did his gameplan, and was MACHO about it.

i agree.margarito's face was pretty swelling.i do think cotto soften him up but didn't finish the job.mosley did.

LOL I knew this thread would pop up. Why don't you just take all the credit away from Shane? Shane fought a GREAT game plan and never let Margarito BACK HIM UP. He was pushing Margarito forward and didnt let him get any momentum. I don't even think that Cotto can even utilize that game plan because Mosley is physically stronger and much faster with his hands.

Cracked his chin ? Are you on the funny cigarettes? Mosley won because he didn't tire out and because of his massive pressure tactics and deadly cross N' hook ..! If Cotto didn't tire and became a punching bag against the ropes in the later rounds he would have won as well..

Not taking anything away from Shane. HELL NO I'M NOT. I was rooting for him and told everybody he'd win BEFORE the fight even got signed. Hell of performance and he DOMINATED Margarito.

I'm just saying - I'd thought Marg would take his shots and just be outboxed, Cotto's punishment finally cracked that chin and Mosley basically KOed his ass.

And his plaster makes me wonder about the Cotto fight as well. If that's the case Cotto lasted 11 rounds - not bad.

If Cotto DID do this to Margarito, then I can't wait to see what Margarito did to Cotto. I bet if Cotto's "ruining" of Margarito made him lose to Mosley, then Margarito's annihilation of Cotto will make him lose to Michael Jennings.

Before any IDIOT interprets this as me saying Cotto will lose to Jennings, let me just clarify my point. I don't believe Cotto did anything to Margarito that hurt his career in the long run. He lost because Shane was just better. The point I'm making is that if you believe Cotto caused harm to Marg's career with his punishment, then you have to also acknowledge that this same this is gonna happen to Cotto, because Tony gave him a much worse beating than what he received either from him or from Shane tonight.
