Luis Collazo: "The Andre Berto Fight Wasn't Close"

He probably just did, oh well. That is what he gets for saying twice already that he felt he lost in a close battle, then changed his story because his friends and biased family told him he blew Berto away. Hahahaha, this was a close fight and he even said that but all of a sudden he says it wasn't a close fight. So I guess the fans are lying to him, since even most fans who had collazo winning wasn't by much.Comment

I didn't even watch the fight, but from what most have told me... it was very close with Berto as the clear winner. Usually people say "it could have gone either way" but most everyone thinks the judges got it right... except that one that had it a Berto blowout.Comment

hes just talking based on everything the fans are telling him and hes feeding into the whole "he got robbed" thing. the fight was a toss up going into the final 2 rounds and berto won both of them, harold letterman was giving collazo alot of questionable rounds too and alot of fans go by what the commentators are saying. the rematch is not going to happen, it was a hard fought victory for berto and he is just gonna move on to a bigger name, similar to what chad dawson did after beating glen johnson.
i would definetly like to see a rematch cuz the fight was entertaining but his promoter is not gonna put him in against a guy that could beat their star if given a second chance, i hope collazo doesnt quit he earned alot of fansComment

collazo won ,i bet on berto for the fight and i felt he lost if you father says 'we need a knockout my friend' before the 12th and hugs his son after the fight and gives him the talk of when you know your kid saying i love you no matter what cause he honestily taught his son lost knowing berto needed to get him out of thereComment

Last weekend, Luis Collazo felt that he should have been announced as the winner when the three scorecards were read for his title shot at undefeated WBC champion Andre Berto. The scores of 116-111, 114-113 and 114-113 gave Berto the unanimous decision victory. [details]Last edited by joseph5620; 01-24-2009, 11:03 AM.Comment
