I understand Hatton wanting a rematch through pride... Mayweather gave him his only loss and that must hurt for him, I understand him wanting another shot to try and put things right. However, a rematch would be pointless because Mayweather will just beat him again... maybe in even better fashion.

Yeah, Hatton has said if he had a second shot and lost he could live with it because he tried his best, but to be honest it would be a waste of time for him and would just be another loss on his record. At the end of the day Mayweather has already beat him once... he doesn't need to beat him again!

No need! Hatton was, is, and always will be a UK B+ fighter! There is nothing he could do better to be better!

There are millions of reasons why a match between Mayweather and Hatton makes sense.

Cortez is incompetent, but it's ****** for Ricky to claim that's why he lost.
He doesn't. He has stated repeatedly that it wasn't Cortez hitting him. But he does raise a "what if" which is valid. Hatton was not permitted to execute his gameplan because of incompetent refereeing. Was the ref the difference? That's the question that Hatton wants to answer.

Hatton only has 1 loss, if he catches loss 2 he deserves a rematch much less, but aslong as that is his only loss, it is always a decent option to try and avenge your only loss (most people don't believe he is up to the task though, but as long as Hatton believes he can win why not?).

its not about deserving its about the money it would generate the two boxers, if staged in England it would be huge, but Hatton will never find out after what Pac will likely do to him.

If Hatton beats Pacman,he would deserve a rematch, but me as a fan, dont want to see the rematch,as a fan I deserve to see Floyd fight an elite welterweight because he claimed to be the best at that weight!!Plus Hatton will take another beating,he is not that good above 140,just ask Collazo!!!!!!!!!

Being bankrupt and being broke really is not the same thing. Bankrupcy is something that broke people do, but smart people usually go bankrupt before they hit 0. I doubt you think Floyd is smart enough to execute a sound financial plan though (or atleast follow a sound finanial planers plan).

Anyways, a broke mother****er can be choosey too, aslong as they have options which Floyd would probably have if he came back (now really at the top of the sport there are limited options, but I think atleast a couple guys would want to fight him and if Floyd is that desperate I would think he would be open to fight anyone).

I do not think he is that broke yet atleast, when Floyd is broke I think you will hear from him constantly, until he got a big fight with someone. Not saying that it will not eventually be the case though.
