I hope so bad that he loses his last fight just to spoil his career, that would make me so happy

Who would want to see it? I know it's a hard concept for an American to grasp but there is actually a world beyond the good ol' US of A. It's a fight British fans would love to see (even as the total mismatch it is), it will get a live audience five times as big as Dawson will ever pull in his career - unless he came here to fight JC - and a huge TV audience. I repeat, yet again, apart from hardcore fans NOBODY IN THE UK HAS EVEN HEARD OF CHAD DAWSON. I know, I live here.

This is BOXING. That's how it works.

I know two stunning revelations in the same post may be overkill but, amazingly enough, all boxers (or at least the sane ones) get nervous, no matter who they are fighting. What makes a champ is the ability to overcome them and get the job done - just like Froch did against Pascal.

what exactly has "bad" chad done to deserve all of this hype?
he was lucky to beat a 40yo johnson, and he outpointed a 40 yo tarver(big f@%*ing deal!)
also why do you think taylor is doing everything he can to avoid a fight with froch?(who beat pascal with a broken rib?!)
not only that! he stood toe to toe and slugged it out!(if any of you know what its like to fight with a broken rib then you`ll understand!)
i think froch-calzaghe would be a far more credible fight than calzaghe-dawson or taylor-froch!
taylor lacks the heart! dawson lacks the name! at least calzaghe-froch would be a big fight in the uk!(ie 60-70000 fans in cardiff!)

Calzaghe can never improve his reputation with the haters, trolls and alts on here or other boards. No matter who he beats there will be an excuse or another fighter he "ducked" and the haters will repeat this process until he loses, even Joe kept fighting until he's 50. A 50 year old Calzaghe loses a close decision to an undefeated 28 year old superstar and the haters would be saying he was "exposed" and if the 50 year old Calzaghe won then the 28 year old would be either "robbed" or "overrated."

Calzaghe can fight whoever he wants if he decides to fight again, especially if it's a farewell to his fans. Joe has proved more then enough to be elected into the HOF as soon as he's eligible, deal with it!
