The ufc primetime show is near enough the same as the 24/7 show in terms of how it is put together and edited, the only big difference is that with the 24/7 shows u had bigger stars so it seemed more entertaining to the average fan but ive watched every 24/7 made and i'm currently watching the ufc primetime show and i think they are both well put together and informative. Gsp penn is a huge fight for the mma world and is the type of fight that you should watch even if you're an average fan or haven't watched an mma ppv b4...i love boxing and mma and the two can co-exist, and jus like low blow armo said all they are doing is using established ideas to their benefit, boxing should do the same bcus the gsp penn ppv will not jus be a good fight, but will be a gr8 ppv card with a gr8 main event and rly good undercard...if anything boxing should take note bcus ive seen rly good main events in boxing recently but they have all had terrible undercards, case in point pacman vs dlh.
Did you watch the first fight??? It was pretty damn boring after the first round. Most of the people who are so amp'd to see this fight haven't even seen the first fight, cuz they're new fans. That's the thing about the UFC, they're just pulling in people who don't know **** about fighting, martial arts, BJJ or wrestling. They're like WWE fans.

MMA is a baby sport. It has had to reach into the fan base of boxing as well as pro wrestling to get where it is. Thats how it goes with new sports, bro.
Can we stop doing MMA threads in here?

Well he did say go into the hood and he could find five guys who would be MMA stars, well Kimbo most likely knocked out those five guys so I figured he would make a good example.

                  EDIT: Excuse me "housing projects"

Don't be ridiculous. I understand that a lot of boxing fans dislike MMA, but you're a moron if you think it's a sport that doesn't require talent and training. In fact, there's more to learn to be a well-rounded fighter in MMA than there is in boxing.

And Kimbo Slice is a marketed "star", but he's a joke of a fighter despite his power. Dude got knocked out by Seth Petrezulli in like 30 seconds. Most of the guys he fought in his youtube videos couldn't throw a punch to save their life, it was pretty pathetic.

I really hope you dont think I brought up Kimbo Slice seriously. A poster said go to the projects and you can find at least five MMA stars. I said Kimbo Slice as an example because he beat up on housing project "fighters" abd got owned in MMA
