HBO has been doing countdown shows for boxing for years. The 4 part 24/7 that Oscar and HBO came up with for the Oscar vs Floyd fight was unlike anything that had been done previously.

anyways i dont think the 1st fight was boring..obviously round one was sick as hell but and rounds two and three although werent as intense as the 1st, were still entertaining. because of the nature of the fight and the fact tht it can go either way like bisexuals intruiges most fans..even casual fans who kno very little

Neither Hagler or Hearns jumped down a weight division, like Penn did after back-to-back losses to GSP then Hughes, just so he could beat up on little guys at Lightweight.

If Penn truly believes wins over an old little Pulver, a second-tier Stephenson and stubby-armed Sherk (all True Lightweights), will translate to success at Welter, he's wrong. Sure, Penn is brining better cardio, no question about it. But, he can't match GSP's conditioning, which might be improved since their first meeting.

You're right, GSP will dominate in boring ground and pound fashion. His wrestling game is probably the best there is right now in MMA. It's a lot better than it was in the first fight. He tried to stand with BJ in the first fight, when that didn't work he controlled him with wrestling. He's gonna do it again even easier this time. The result, a pretty boring but dominant performance. In no way should that be compared to the best three rounds in history.

Dana White is a ****in *******.

Hearns and Hagler could both go 15 rounds and still be dangerous. Penn has a history of gassing-out badly if he doesn't get the win within 2 Rnds. I'm not talking about his recent wins at LW, because he's not being tested much there. I'm talking about his record at Welter or Openweight, where he has looked like a slow burning fire.

This probably sums it all up, nothing more to be said. Good Take.

Dana is an ass but he's good and gettin ppl talkin...he's like vince in the wwe...except he's actin while dana is all real when he's actin like an ass...hagler hearns had so much fireworks for less thn 9 minutes of boxing...gsp penn wont be nowhere near as epic as that fight but it will be very entertaining no doubt...i think the more explosive fight in terms of action on the card will be machida vs silva...but nevertheless dana talks alot of ****...and here is no exception
