Calzaghe throws "slapping" punches on purpose. They are not meant to be hard shots. Therefor, BHop hits harder then Joe.

I know.. but as far as one punch power, its probably pretty accurate. If we were talking about "Who can punch harder when throwing a combination" it might be different. I don't think B-Hop has thrown a combo since the Colonies declared independence.

I did... I haven't watched Hopkins since the second Taylor fight... I just couldn't sit through another B-Hop fight. From what I've read and seen in the highlights, B-Hop blew his ass away.... and he DID throw combinations. If he can do that twice, I'll watch his next fight.

Hopkins hits harder. Calzaghe likely slaps so much because he's worried about his brittle hands, so he made the adjustment successfully and goes for volume over power.

I didn't know that about Eubank... That does say something to Joe's strength, because Eubank has been in with some monsters before.
