Calzaghe throws "slapping" punches on purpose. They are not meant to be hard shots. Therefor, BHop hits harder then Joe.

As I've never been hit by either... and hopefully never will, I'm just going of KO ratings. Hopkins has a couple of "one punch" knockout highlights that get replayed quite a bit, like against Tito, but most of the big punches I've seen from Hopkins have resulted in the opponent getting right back on their feet.

Tito got beat down over 12 rds. I wouldn't call that a one punch KD.

Hopkins does now and back in the day had more power too.

Neither really has one punch KO power but you can see hopkins still knocks guys down and has a lot of pop to his punches. He hurt kelly numerous times, knocked down calzaghe and Tarver. Back in the day though hopkins KO'd a lot of people. I'm sure calzaghe also hit a lot harder before he had hand problems but it was never on the level of bhop

If you asked me before Calzaghe's hand injuries, I would have said Calzaghe. He had some good power. But at the moment it's Hopkins.
