but the networks have to adapt as well. They give dates to guys like Gamboa, and others who have never even fought anybody, because they think thats what the public wants to see. Every network is looking for the next Gatti. HBO thought they had one in Katsidis, but that didnt work out too well. And theres a good arguement that they are showcasing the next generation of fighters, but sometimes their selections leave a bit to be desired. But yet they put on a great matchup with Calzaghe and Kessler, and nobody watches. So whats the solution? I sure dont know, and apparantly network people alot smarter than me dont know either. Its a tough issue. To become widely known, you must have tv exposure, and to get tv exposure, the networks have to like you.
