    looking at Pacman at bird eye view level

    You will never understand why Manny Pacquiao turn down your $13million. Yes, MP came from the street who hardly eat three times a day, from a country where most people make $8-$10/day your first reaction is how ****** can he be but for most people where he came from his reaction is noble ONE. It's the same thing as not moving back in the bus. So let us move on. If Schaefer, Arum, and the fans of Ricky or Hatton himself feels Pacquiao doesn't deserve 55-45 then fight the guy who will accept 50-50, like Oscar and Floyd. But leave the guy alone. He don't want your 13milions, he want the 55-45...(RESPECT). There are a dozen of world champions that will fight MP for 60-40. As that is what you the founding fathers of boxing decreed.

      Unfortunately the rest of the world looks at it and sees greed and he loses respect.

      Equally there are dozens who would face hatton for 50/50.

      The difference being of course that Hatton didn't agree a split in December and then decide in mid January that it wasn't enough.

        name them. you think hatton would agree to a split other than a pbf or oscar? he can't even concede an extra 5% to the #1p4p.

          I know Hatton can fill an 80k arena in the UK fighting some others, Manny is just mad because he's not the one that going to be fighting. He can stick to his guns all he wants, but they shoot blanks, then whats the point of having one? Its going to be interesting to see what kind of money he'll get fighting anyone other than Hatton or Gayweather.....i bet it wont even come close to what was offered...

            Internet boxing forums hardly represent the consensus of 'the whole world'

            An professional sports player holding out of a contract is greedy.

            One not signing with a particular team because he doesn't feel like the salary is just, is clearly not.

                Try reading the US/UK press, Pacman is getting very bad press over this.

                Any of the 140 champs would face Hatton for 40% as would Witter and Maidana, PBF got a worse deal last time so i expect he would take the one offered to pacman, JMM, Juan Diaz and Campbell would probably come up a weight for a big payday, Cotto and marg would no doubt prefer an easier fight against pac-man but if hatton offered them 50/50 they would rip his arm off, ODLH has already asked.

                it's not like hatton is short of options.

                  the question is would hatton accept a 50-50? there is no one on that list sans pbf or oscar that hatton would agree to an even split.

                    You mess people around for weeks, your difficult to contact, argue over a few percentage points spoiling a huge fight all parties involved and especially the fans are desperate for, don't answer the phone to your own trainer, and Schaefer should be more patient with you?

                    Sorry but Manny is acting like a spoilt kid expecting everything to work out for him, he's un professional and I'm glad Schaefer has the guts to say as much. I'm a fan of Pac's but I have lost respect for him here as I would anyone, and I think his arrogant mentality and thinking is displayed clearly in one quote from him;

                    I beat Oscar Dela Hoya when he said he was still on top of his game.

                      one cancelled fight and everyone is on the bandwagon. remember it takes two to negotiate so if the fight is not made its the fault of both parties. How can anyone say this fight is not happening through pacs greed, if the fight does not pull through and he fights someone else for a considerably less amount, then we can say it was not through greed, but honour and principle.
