just put it this way..60/40..whoever wins take the 60.
since they are both bragging that each one is above the other, take that condition. If they really want to show who is the better man1

You say he doesn't respect hatton, so why did manny call him the king of the 140 pound division, what other opponents would gain him more respect?

Hatton is a much harder fight then a weight drained old oscar
I get your point but IMO its just Manny wanting to see that 60-40 written that contract which for him will constitute enough respect or shall we say acknowledgement that he is the P4P king and everything should be in his favor I irregardless of your argument which are also valid I might say). Maybe its as simple as that. What I meant by not having to respect Hatton is that he never see Ricky as being above him in terms of boxing legacy.

As someone said, it's not really an issue of money it's pride.

I agree with Manny, right now he is the top draw in the sport ( for that weight anyway). Hatton already gets to fight at his weight. Hatton wanting the same cut as Pacquiao he is essentially saying that they are equals. They aren't equals Pacquiao is at the height Hatton wants to reach.

Paper champ? I think you're wrong there. Any other boxer could have stepped up and became the P4P King. Why was the Pacman selected after Mayweather retired? He's not the champ for being an "amateur" fighter or "sparring partner." He's the champ for a valid reason and you as a "fan" of this sport should already know this unless you're just a hater and can't give any credit to those who deserve it. JAT

you just dont get it, do you?

Manny AGREED to 50-50 and then changed his mind, went back on his word.

                That's where the issue lies.

                Ricky stood his ground.

                Respect to him.

Besides, Manny is the only loser here. He wont get close to the payday he'd get fighting Hatton

why is not a question of money? that is exactly what this is. Hatton brings the value - it is that simple. I agree with all of the arguments that Pacquiao is the more accomplished fighter, has had better recent results, has been in the bigger fights recently, is p4p #1 etc but at the end of the day Hatton brings more money to the table. This is a business. Fight Hatton and Pacman will get around $20m. Fight Valero he will get $3m-$5m. Hatton could fight Valero (or anyone) in Manchester in front of 80,000 and still get around $10m. So Pacman (financially) needs Hatton more than Hatton needs him.

Yeah but arum negotiated half of the UK ppv money, why doesn't everyone understand this???? would he rather have the 60-40 and hatton keep the UK money, would that give him more pride? Because it would certainly lighten his pockets. Pac will recieve revenue from his opponents home country, which mayweather did not get. This pride thing is un-educated bull****!!
