I don't really care what Tony weighs on fight night..... as long as he makes 147 he's a WW....and a dam good one to!

Mr. thread starter......Tony can be called alot of things, but a COWARD is not one of them!

I have friends that are over 6' tall and weigh 160 and i'm 5'9" and 185. We're both in shape but people carry weight differently.
Is it healthy to get down to 147 pounds, and then re-hydrate back up to over 160 in 24 hrs, before being punches in the head for 12 rounds by a professional boxer?

If you think so, thats fine, im not so sure.

i know i born and raise there... and by the way as a boxing fan i went to a lot live boxings matchs there and ppl there will boo they own boxer if they get a win that they dont deserver... maragarito could not go feather in the fight he would have is brains splash all over... headbutts is something that happens in boxing u know?

I agree to some extent about the advantage, but how much of an advantage is it before the weight classes are being abused, what is the point of having weight classes if one boxer can come into a fight more than a stone heavier than another?
you have a point, but its all part of the game. doing same-day weigh ins every fight might sound a good idea, but most boxers' body are conditioned in a way that they gain weight between the weigh-in and the fight itself. changing the rules will affect their performances.

i could bet both their brains out, cos i am a husky 5''10 260 and would have 120 lbs on them, plus streetifghtign experience that would translate into the ring and the street against either

weight is everything, i honestly cant see myself getting beaten by any boxer, in either the ring or the street, unless they weigh a solid 200

and even then i would have a weight advantage, so it would be close

i mean everyone says how good wlad is...

i have 15 lbs on that guy, i honestly dont see him dealing with that extra 15lbs wearing him down

valuev would kick my ass, he has 40 lbs on me, no contest
lmao thats some funny **** right there
