How was Tony ducking Williams prior to fighting him the first time? please explain your logic, of course you have nothing to show for except smoke and mirror assumptions and made up nonsense. If your outlandish theories were "correct" wouldn't it made more sense for Margarito to relinquish the belt rather than fight Williams and take the Miguel Cotto fight that was on the table lined up for him instead? Funny, but the fight was stopped when Marg was coming on and it was another Santos Head butt. THE FIGHT was in PR. who cares what judge had it scored for who.. Thank God there was an unbiased PR judge.....

So, point is, cotto was fighting someone significantly bigger than himself, i knew after round 2/3 marg was gonna get him, cotto's shots hardly had any effect and that because Margarito obviously isnt a true welterweight he should be at 154 pounds.

Does anybody know how much marg weighed on fight night, a mate told me it could have been nearly 170, but i want conformation either way.

Margarito isn't a fast puncher at all, he has a high work-rate but most elite boxers can see his punches coming from a mile away. That is what makes a pacquiao/marg fight intriguing. At times in the cotto fight, cotto embarrassed margarito by avoiding a bunch of his shots. But then again cotto must have been embarrassed when he got stopped in a fight he was favored to win.
