My point was how can so many boxing fans claim Joe lost in a such a clear cut fashion when Hopkins didn't throw enough punches to win. You can throw less punches, land less punches and land at a lower percentage rate and expect to win.

It was an close, ugly fight, but Hopkins didn't do enough to convince to judges. Simple.

something tells me you need to watch it again and focus on where the punches are landing not just watch the arms moving. moving your arms in a punching/slapping motion doesn't mean you are landing cleanly no matter what the crowd thinks/lampley says.
