The first fight when Taylor got gassed and Bernard started to come on strong.

The second fight belonged to Taylor start to finish.

obv hopkins won but they were fixed. how do you explain one of the judges giving taylor the 12th round in the first fight. a round hopkins hurt taylor badly and almost knocked him out. ****** judges can't even cheat properly they make it too obvious.

So Hopkins only loss was to Roy Jones according to you?

Don't get all pissy because Taylor beat your boy twice. B-Hop didn't want to engage him so he played defense all night in both fights. If not for giving Taylor a concussion with a headbutt in round 7 or 8, he probably wouldn't have even come close to winning the first fight.
You know who didn't have Toney beating Tiberi?

            James Toney.

That seems really bad for your theory that Toney won fair and square.

              Clinton Mitchell too.

Although, really, having him only down 2 losses is not that far fetched. I can't imagine anyone willing to stake their life that there is no possible way that any of those three losses could have been scored for Hopkins.

Here's how I saw the fights:

Next In Line (first meeting) - Hopkins ****ed around for the first 8 rounds, and needed a KO after round 7. However, it really sticks in people's minds that Taylor was just getting blown up in rounds 9-12. He was hurt so many times, and just got dominated. If boxing wasn't scored round by round, that fight would be a clear win for Hopkins. He did more damage to Taylor in the 4 rounds that he actually fought than Taylor did in all 12. This is one of those fights that makes me think that boxing needs its scoring system changed.

No Excuses (rematch) - Hopkins stepped his workrate up to try to match Taylor, and not give away a ton of early rounds. However, Taylor's workrate was up there too, and he seemed to have improved his defense against Hopkins's counters. I think Taylor also won this fight because he just outhustled Hopkins is the majority of the rounds. This fight was much more even when it came to damage dealt, so it's hard to give Hopkins the same kind of credit you could in the first fight about at least hurting more, even though he lost more rounds.
