I thought he did more in the 2nd than the 1st. I didn't think he lost either tho. At worst he shoulda had a draw in the 1st imo.

Don't get all pissy because Taylor beat your boy twice. B-Hop didn't want to engage him so he played defense all night in both fights. If not for giving Taylor a concussion with a headbutt in round 7 or 8, he probably wouldn't have even come close to winning the first fight.
Taylor beat Hopkins clearly in the first fight, but in the second Hopkins did a lot more and Taylor did a lot less. It's puzzling to seem how someone could have 8 rounds for Taylor in the rematch.

Also for the record I had Mayweather beating Castillo and I've never seen Toney-Tiberi, but you do realize that Toney admitted losing to Tiberi right?

I was under the original assumption that Hopkins had won the first, and lost the second. But after going back and rewatching both fights, I've switched my opinion.

Hopkins landed the better shots in the first fight, but wasn't active enough to earn the decision.

The second fight was a clear Hopkins victory IMO. Go back and rewatch it again if you haven't lately, Taylor getting that decision was absurd to me.

Both those guys should have had L's on their record after those two miserable fights.

          Lord, they were bad.

I think B-Hop is ashamed to do what Berto did to Collazo last round or what RJJ did to Tarver 1st fight and yes! I'm talkin about pushing himself even though there isn't much energy left

I never seen B-Hop in that kind of position but really! He should have been in them

I haven't seen the second, but from what I remember from the first, Hopkins didn't do anything for nine rounds, then dominated the last 3. Taylor didn't do much the entire fight, but IMO he did more for most of the first 9. Unfortunately for BHOP, a round in which a fighter does slightly more is scored the same as a whipping, unless of course it's completely one sided and becomes a 2 point round. I don't remember any of the last 3 qualifying as 10-8, and I don't think Bernard won more than 2 of the first 9.

B-Hop won both of em. B-Hop's workrate wasn't too good...I believe it was due to making 160 at such an old age. He looked better against Pavlik no lie! Honestly, I think he has a bigger case for winning the 1st. I know B-Hop started late in the 1st fight but WTF! did Taylor do?

Taylor had pretty good body work and actually landed his jab in the first fight. I don't know why Taylor got rid of his body work, it was actually pretty decent. That and Hopkins took longer to get into the fight.

I had it 7-5 Taylor in their first fight
