suddenly pac has no options? where did this come from? even before the dela hoya fight the PACMAN has many options and many fighters want to fight him. thats why boxing has become so greedy because no one takes pride in their achievements like pacman is doing now. **** ricky hatton he aint worth **** if you ask me, mediocre talent with mediocre resume and generates mediocre excitement. tell me how can that be worth 50% of the pie against the pound for pound the best and most exciting fighter today??? im clueless why so many people put to much weight on the money? money isn't everything. ^^

Valero is clearly a talented fighter, but I would have preferred to see him prove it in the ring before getting this kind of fight. This is definitely a fun action fight, although it leaves a bit to be desired with all the talk of Pacman vs Hatton and Mayweather.

Boxing fans consistently rip fighters for thinking or talking solely about money.

Floyd Mayweather has been roundly criticized for moving up weight without remaining at one long enough to exert total dominance. Now everyone wants Manny Pacquaio to celebrate his #1 p4p status by fighting at another weight he has never fought at before and has no immediate plans to fight at in the future.

I say good for Pac if he fights Valero for 3 million and then unifies the damn 135 division with a couple thrilling fights. In the long run it would be better for him and for boxing fans than to have to wait for 4-5 months to watch Manny chew Hatton up and spit him out.

Maybe Pac-Man prefers Mayweather jr. or Mosley should he get past Margarito. Boxing is just as strategic out of the ring as it is in. Something to Ponder?

Valero vs Pacquiao may not make as much as a Hatton fight, but it would be hella more exciting. Hatton holds too much.
