How does bickering back and forth about money help sell a fight? Its actually quite aggravating, and has a better chance of turning fans off, rather than hyping them up.

You can develop a story around it. They could start blaming each on the media, for the problems making the fight, then they can start calling names on each other, and then all of the sudden you will have the classic Villian vs good guy story, who will sell this fight a lot more.

Pac dont need Hatton to cement his legacy. He's already a HOF figher, 2x FOTY, and P4P #1. If he dosent fight Hatton this status isnt getting thrown out the window. Hatton needs this in order to establish himself as a Top P4P fighter and cement his own legacy. Sure he's dominate at 140, but really, dominating one division, is that really an essence of greatness.

As far as his opportunity to make all that dough fighting Hatton, Pac lives in the Philippines anyways, with all his previous fights and the HUGE amount of endorsements in the Philippines (Nike, Mcdonalds, San Miguel Beer, etc.) Im sure hell be fine racking in 4-5 mil in his future fights.

There was NEVER anything wrong with 50/50 from the start except Pac was even lucky to get a 50/50 deal considering Hatton brings in 70% of the money.

hatton maybe a huge draw but pac's legacy is more cemented than hatton. hatton needs pac more than vice versa. if it's just about money, they both need one another.
