It is a bait thread, which is your specialty. Margarito is a welterweight. By that time Winky was a full blown middleweight. The fight was discussed for five minutes once and never came close to happening.

Sam Soliman gave Winky a pretty close fight. Sam Soliman throws alot of punches at wicked angles. Sam Soliman is featherfisted. I'd expect Winky/Margarito to end with a SD either way.

Dont know, but what i do know is that Arum/Marg were the ones who initiated the offer, and were interested in making the fight happen in the first place. Winky should've jumped on the $4mil when it was offered. Im sure he didnt make that much to fight Ike Quartey after turning down Arums offer.

Winky was a Top 5 P4P fighter like Floyd at the time. And Winky was a known fighter at the time. Why shouldn’t he get offered the same as Floyd. He was worth as much as Floyd at the time.
