Anyways, there's proof that Winky offered Margarito his biggest payday to date but Margarito turned it down so show me your proof and I'll believe you.
bpp is a ***en internet message board mod. Do you know what that is? Is this your ***en prof BPP??????????? IT's a laughable one in fact. I hate when i come accross arguments with posters and they constantly "need a link" "show me prof" it just shows the level im arguing with and shows how long you been following boxing. IT's not a secret winky turned down margarito, I don't feel the need to prove anything to you. If you really want to be informed look it up! Arum offered winky wright 4 million dollars to fight margarito, 4 million dollars!!! and he turned it down! Arum doesn't play games and he won't be pushed around. Once winky said no he moved on and put margarito vs clottey which was supposed to set up cotto vs margarito in the summer of 07. The fact that winky comes balking after the fact that margarito vs cotto was already in the works is laughable. Leave it up to winky to screw himself out of fights.

Actually saddo boxing has my proof and I admitted you are probably right about the story because I do remember something like that happening in 2006.

        And you are indeed correct.

Winky Wright has spurned a $4 million offer to face WBO welter champ Antonio Margarito. Winky says it's not enough cash, although the offer surpasses his purse from the Jermain Taylor fight. The crafty southpaw wants his next fight to be at home in the Tampa area, followed by a challenge to 168lb champion Joe Calzaghe. - *********.com

so flawless you should have your answer, and i know it's now what you were looking for but winky turned down a career high of 4 million dollars to fight antonio margarito, that's why this fight did not happen.

It is a bait thread, which is your specialty. Margarito is a welterweight. By that time Winky was a full blown middleweight. The fight was discussed for five minutes once and never came close to happening.

Umm I saw Marg get hurt in the second fight when he tried to pull a Morales by going southpaw, Santos also buckled him briefly in the first fight. What does fighting in the states have to do with anything.

So that's all you saw?? The first round?? I take it you only saw that highlight and assumed Santos won in a legit way correct??

Wouldn't of been home cooking if it would of been in the states. Go actually watch the fight.
