Should it have been called a knockdown?!?
I've seen that particular incident but not the whole fight, and I'd say probably not, no.

By the way, your sig gif, those had to be literally the only positive moments Paulie had in that fight?

being saved by the ropes and only being held up by the ropes are two different things. it shouldn't be ruled a knockdown because he was mostly off balance and properly regained himself.

No. His glove didn't touch the canvas. Just off balance. Big deal. Idk wat Papa was talkin about.

if the ropes hold you up from falling down it's a kd, otherwise it's not a kd.

Thing is, when your leaning on the ropes, intentionately fall back on them a bit either to stay or bounce back, your technically being held up by the ropes. If they weren't there you'd be on your arse.

So it's difficult to really judge and they'll always be varying views on it. Plus don't different organisations have slightly differently worded rules on it? I'm sure someone posted IBF's recently for a bout awhile back.

no. and if thats a knockdown, then luis crumbling to his knees halfway through the 12th is a knockdown to.

Berto didn't even land a punch during that sequence.

Thats not a knock down but the ref if he felt like it could have called him on it.
