Even Bertos father knew he lost and I miss Larry Merchant in this one but I fill sorry for Berto because people are going to hate him the same way they hate Floyd, Floyd was protected from day one he did great against Corralez, Gatty, DLH but he lost to Zab and Castillo 1 and because of that in my eyes he was good but not great, Berto haves his first gift and there going to keep coming, thanks to the judges we keep loosing fans every day. BUT on to this fight.....

I thought Collazo did enough to win, i had him up by 2 points, could have been 3....

Am i dissapointed in the outcome, yes...

Should i think there should be a rematch, yes...

Do i think that it was a robbery, no....

I thought, imo, that eventhough Berto won, he got a lil exposed...

I think Collazo showed the way to beat him and IF he (Berto) fights the big names at WW, they are going to take him apart....

Will he step up against the other champs or demand a fight with them?

Not right now, i think his team, promoter and others associated with him should relax and work on some of his problems.....

Will he be able to overcome those deficiencies??

Yes, he's still very young, his chin stood up to some big shots and he's got a good corner behind him.....

Hopefully, the Welters took notice and put on some good fights in '09 and following years.....

I don't see a rematch happening. His handlers are taking this victory and running off into the sunset with it. Also I wouldn't be surprised if people start ****ting on Collazo and saying he's done with pro boxing.

True that... UD, now way, SD I would of been a little satisfied. I dont expect Berto to be in there with the big dogs. The thing that sucks is Berto was the upcoming star and it was do or die for Collazo. From a business standpoint for HBO who would they favor the "W", obviously their new star.
