I don't think it is that at all. I think that ppl really believe that Shane is something that he isn't and never was. They get fooled by his speed and think he is an boxer which he isn't. He's also not such a smart fighter like a Hopkins so it is very doubtful that he will make much use of his experience. Even in his prime Margarito would give Shane some problems. In his prime I would say 7-5 rounds Shane (at 135) in a war. Even in his prime Welter days I guess he would loose to Marga.

He will try to make it but at this stage is going to get clearer and clearer for Margarito as the fight moves into the 8th or 9th. UD Margarito

The last few rounds could be pretty rough for Shane but I doubt he will get knocked out.

I don't think Mosley can hit Margarito with more power than Cotto hitted Tony. The best chin in the business will take everything Mosley has to offer. Everyone knows Margarito can be outboxed. The problem is to accomplish the job. Cotto couldn't. Mosley... it's totally arguable. Margarito wins!
