He should either have told Arum in advance what his bottom line was, or attended the negotiations himself. Sending out a negotiator to cut a deal for you, and then turning it down after the deal has already been agreed, just stinks.
yes. arum and pac screwed themselves on this one. pac should have made it clear that he ain't taking 50-50 and arum should have made sure that his fighter will accept the offer.

i really want to this fight happen but i see where pac is coming from.

i say Hatton's camp should make a counter offer, 52-48 and make the fight happen

Big fights like that are a thing of the past for boxing. They are happening now in MMA but in boxing, not anymore. Don't expect to see the likes of Mayweather, Haton or Pacquiao fighting the best out there, ever!

Regarding the Mayweather claim, Arum is adamant that Pac has been offered a much better deal than Mayweather got.

Regarding the negotiations, Arum said "we'll see if we can keep it together, but the split is supposed to be 50-50. We've all agreed to it."
That implies to me that Pac agreed to it (presumably on the phone).

But even if Arum is bull****ting about that bit, he clearly negotiated under the impression that he had full authorisation from Manny to cut a deal on his behalf - if he hadn't, he wouldn't have told Hatton's team that he had full authorisation, which he did tell them. He's not that ******.

Also Roach has also said that it's a great deal for Manny and that he should take it.

Man stop saying Pacquiao reneged on the deal, he did not! It was just the bastard Arum made the deal without consulting the guy. Now Arum is on hot water because he already made the deal and Manny won't accept it.

Hatton is throwing away the chance of a lifetime to beat the best fighter in the world pound for pound. He should swallow his pride and accept 55/45. Otherwise, he'll be left with no options but fight in the UK because he is a nobody in the world's stage. Yes, he'll get his money but then forgotten.

u are the nobody, Hatton is undisputed at 140, officially the best in the world at that weight. He was beaten at 147 away from home with a crooked ref, one defeat in his entire career.

Hatton can geteven bigger by fighting Zab Judah in the UK, JMM, Miguel Cotto or rematching FMJ.

Hatton does not go out of 147 and yes he is dominate at 140 so Zab and Cotto are out of the picture. Floyd is RETIRED so please dont mention that as an option unless Floyd announces his comeback. So who does that leave, JMM IF he moves up to 140 which i doubt.

And that crooked ref crap is B.S. Cortez had nothing to do with Mayweather getting in his pot shots, lead rights, and check hook. Hatton just had no defense.
