As a fan of Pac, I would agree. For someone to say Pac dominates at 147 is jumping the gun way to soon. Would I like to see him test the waters with the elite at 147, HELL YA, thats what makes the sport interesting, elite fighters securing their legacy and making boxing history. Even if he loses if a Margarito or Cotto fight were to happen for Pac I would put Pac above Floyd for taking that risk. But I would agree a fight with Margarito would be TOUGH.

DLH was able to call the shot because he is an excellent promoter, and not because of his status.Comment

LOL... so are you saying if Arum turned boxing professional, he would get a big purse split because he himself is an excellent promoter? And that DLH's status has absolutely nothing to do with him calling the shots?Comment

no, i'm just saying that the fact that he is his own promoter, helped him ease the way into almost any fight he wanted.Comment

I don't get the point? Ok, why would a boxer go from 135lbs to 147lbs, win and not continue to fight on at 147lbs. I am going to tell you why. Because if he does he will get his as beat by Margarito or Cotto. Pacman needs to stop ****ing around and give someone the opportunity of a tittle shot at 135lbs. He is holding up the belt. There are a lot of boxers at 135 who will take a 60/40 split right now. Open your eyes Pacman had a really hard time against Marquez. If he fights Cambell who knows what will happen.
Margarito and Cotto are tough fights at 147 yes, but I wouldnt count Pac out completely. Yes I agree Pac should do something with that title at 135 either defend it or give it up and move to 140. I think if a Hatton fight doesnt happen he should try to dominate the 135 division. As a Pac fan I for one wouldnt mind seeing a rematch with Marquez and would be the first to say that it wasnt one of Pac's easy fights. Those two bring fireworks and its always a see-saw battle. If Hatton doesnt go through, Pac should fight the winner of Diaz vs. Marquez IMO.Comment

Pacman will do a great service to the 140 lb division by making it relevant and exciting. Look at what he did to the 126, 130 and 135. The best follows him wherever he went... perhaps he'll take Marquez, Campbell, Katsidis, Valero, Guzman and Barrera to 140. I doubt though if they'll follow him to 147.Comment
