I asked 40 people in my office if they knew who the following was

Manny pacquiao: 1 person, the guy who i talk boxing too

Ricky Hatton: The cleaner and 1 older woman didn't know out of about 40.
But Pacman would be much easier to Market in the UK than Marquez would, All Sky would do is promote it as "Hatton's 2nd crack at the best fighter in the world, its his last chance to be the best etc".

The Marquez fight would be alot harder to promote because there would be less on the line, any in any case, i believe marquez is at the limit at 135, i dont think a fight with hatton is visable at this stage.

Hatton brings the title and the money. Plus he is still a much bigger name then Pac (accept it Pac fans, its not even close). If Pac wont be fair about it then Ricky should fight someone else. But not Mayweather...nobody needs to watch that fight again. Although Im sure he would fight Ricky just to be indoors for a while (being broke and all.) That will teach him to stop playing to the lowest denominator of society by "making it rain" at the clubs...

yes they could, they could just as easily sell the Kotelink fight as settig up a 140 unification fight and the Bradley Holt figth as "unifying teh division"

the Average Ricky fan would lap that up in droves.

Well if you honestly believe Fights against Kotelink and Bradley would do better numbers in the UK than the Pacquiao fight, then you need to give the Samaritans a call.

Worldwide? no, in the UK I give a 4 belt unifcation fight a good chance to beat a pacman fight on purely UK PPV's if they fought on UK time.

Especially if Sky hype the **** out of the Holt Vs Bradley fight.

Hype is more important than just about anything when it comes to selling tickets and only a tenth of ricky potential PPV buyer would know the difference between a unification fight and fighting the P4P No1.

Hope he does take turn Pac down, i would! But lets see if he makes even close to what he would make for a fight with Pac.
And who is he going to fight?? You know Gayweather isnt going to fight him, the 1st fight wasnt even competitive, unless Gayweather is looking for an easy pay check (i heard his $$ situation isnt that good but not bad). Hatton/Holt is on, who else in 140 is out there that is even worth fighting? I dont think he can make 135 and as for 147, he'd get his clock cleaned........good luck to him

                      I Dont,

Hatton vs Bradley aint doing better numbers than Hatton vs Pacquaio, USA time, UK time, Hammertime, anytime.
