Depends on the definition of "Big paying Mega fight". It's by far his biggest paying option, no-one disputes that, but my point is simply that Hatton doesn't really need it, although he wants it, and you now seem to agree with that.

I would classify Hatton-Marquez as a big paying megafight, although it wouldn't be nearly as big paying, or nearly as mega, as Hatton-Pac would be. Everything's relative.

However, it has been annouced some where else in the forum that pac has accepted 50/50, how sure this is, i dont know.

Yea, I dont see it with Marquez to be honest, average bloke in UK doesnt know who he is, cant see why that fight would make more money or do more sales than some of his other big fights, at least paulie ran his mouth a little and riled up the hatton fans, cant see marquez doing that.

Plus marquez looks to have reached the limit to me at 135, his win over casamayor was down to casamayor lunging in with the left hand and getting caught with combo, bad tactics on his part, i dont think Marquez's performance in that fight was great, just that casamayor pressed when he didnt need to and that he didnt have the reflexes he used to.

no way 50/50 pacman has really lost a few fans over this or atleast dented his reputation, when it comes to the purse it aint about the revenue its about the draw- and hatton is the bigger draw!!!
