It's to sloppy for my taste and the grappling in boring to me. I don't think it's trash, but it's not for me.

Do boxers understand the fundamentals of ground defense and how a full butterfly guard will keep your opponent from mounting you and knocking you out?

i do know about wrestling and MMA.... My cuz was one fight away from getting in the UFC.... I have trained with him before and seen him train...... I just cant seem to really like... Will I watch it? Yeah. But it is not really intriguing.

dude wrestling is as complex and as much as a chest match you will find in sports. I'm not talking about MMA, I'm talking about wrestling and no not wwe wrestling either. Everything that boxing is: defense, countering, finding openings, thinking ahead, setting your opponent up, not making mastakes, is everything that wrestling is. To say there is no skill in wrestling is just plain out dumb.

its entertaining but what pisses me off is how the ufc uses words like "world class" and "super athlete" about guys with beer guts who gas in 2 rounds. Then kids in high school go on about how they are MMA fighters and its all world class. It's an immature sport, Its embarassing to go telling people I watch UFC.

MMA fighters who are mainly grappling specialists are no diffrent than boxers like Corey Spinks. No power, boring style and they have very few fans.

MMA fans for the most part Mock and boo fighters that just wanna keep a fight on the ground so for the most part they hate it as much as you do.

Naw there is skill, but I just think it is not really all that technical and hard....

I grew up learning all this ****... I boxed was in MMA type stuff, learned some Jiu Jitsu I just never found it that hard and technical.
