Remember during the Mayweather/Hatton press conference when Hopkins and Calzaghe confronted each other. Hopkins said to Calzaghe, ' you ent on my level... who have your fought'...

Joe's reply was... 'I fought..... hmmmmm (day dreamed for like half hour trying to think of a credible opponent) then finally spoke, 'kkkesslller.'

Hopkins replied, 'kessler... are you serious! Is that the best you could come up with... Kesslers not on my level'... and started laughing.

        That **** was funny.

I don't know Calzaghe may not have as many undersized name brand fighters on his resume like Hopkins does, but he damn sure beat the same hopkins that everybody praised for beating tarver and winky wright in recent fights. Nobody was using that "old" excuse until after Calzaghe, then conveniently forget about him being old after he found another big name catchweight victim like pavlik.

I still feel Hopkins won the fight... I didnt use Hopkins age as a reason to why he lost, but it did play its part.

The Hopkins that fought Pavlik looked more determined than the one that fought Calzaghe... If only that Hopkins turned up against Joe.

You are a victim of really bad logic. Read that first post in that thread. So what if anyone used that statement? FACT: HOPKINS IS OLD.

FACT: IT WAS A ****TY UNIMPRESSIVE VICTORY
FACT: Fanboys will make any excuse to defend Joe.

All three of these fighters have good speed, footwork and can adapt! Joe was only suited for uneducated pressure and throwing a billion slap shots to gain olympic points victories against marginal competition and never looked good against a legitimate challenger.
You surprise me with this statement, Pisspac.

Note I'm not dis*****g it in its entireity - remember our earlier converse about polemics in NSB - but the common belief among the average Fat Yank on here is that The Paler and Joe Blow are uneducated swingers. I'm surprised you subscribe to that theory.
