People of this forum will disagree, but i dont care..

Clottey is the man at welter, why?
because nobody wants to fight the guy
Paul wanted to fight Clottey and Clottey wanted to fight Paul. Too bad it never flew threw

        All of that is alleged..
I really dont beleive that Paul wanted to fight him.
He says he wants every1, but then doesnt agree with the money and dont fight them..
        thats a cop out..
I like paul as a fighter, but there is politics behind his "ill fight anyone" attitude

I'm not sure if I'd say he's underrated. Most people would probably rank him about where he should be on the welterweight list. However, I would say that he's a very high risk/low reward fighter and for this reason people aren't knocking down his door for a fight.

I agree, the only welterweight i see beating Clottey is Paul Williams. The reason being is because since Clottey keeps a tight guard That leaves plenty of space for Williams to use his length like he did with Margarito,or he could fight him like he did Verno Phillips, since Clottey and Phillips have similar defense. Clottey would spank Cotto, He is just too big for him. I think eventually Clottey will fight at jr. middleweight, one of my favorite divisions right now.

He's a world champion, his only true loss coming at the hands of the #1 welterweight antonio margarito , in which i had him winning the first 4 rounds before his hand broke.and he holds wins over good name fighters etc judah, corrales.but yet tv networks still reject him.not right.
and u know what else is sad about that, clottey prolly beats cotto and margarito. I would love to see him in paul williams. I think he needs to move up to 154 to be more busy, but it's hard to do that when your champ at ww and all the action is at ww. Arum is a blood succking leech!

I see him beating everybody in the welterweight division easy with a few exceptions.
                    1) rematch with Margarito would be a toss up.
                    2) I believe Mosely could still give him a very good fight.
                    3) I truely believe Cotto would beat him based on his combanation of boxing and punching styles of fighting.
