If that is the case, then the official tallies that said the highest PPV is between DLH-PBF at 2.4M buys and 2nd highest Tyson-Holyfield at 1.99M buys, won't be true, since you said Hatton-Mayweather is 2.3M buys. So which is which, by the way?

I read it before, "the result of PPV will not be known until for a about a week because HBO would be waiting for international buys to tally". Now, if the tallies includes the sales outside the US, why the UK PPV is not in HBO tally. Just wondering?
Where are these HBO figures? Do you have a link?

For what we know about negotiations, someone's always hold some aces until the very last. You cannot bring everything on the table in the beginning. There's always a ploy they manuever for the coming fight or for the future fights. Only them (negotiators) knows that. Certainly, they won't tell us for sure, it's their trade secret.

I didn't say Pac should have told Hatton at the outset that he wanted 60/40, I said he should have told Arum at the outset. You don't ask someone to negotiate a deal for you and then wait until the deal has actually been agreed and only then bother to tell your own negotiator what terms you are willing to accept. That stinks.

The other point is that for Pac to get half of the UK PPV is unprecedented, and means he'll earn far more than Mayweather did when he fought Hatton.

Well, how can we know IF Pac haven't told Arum the fact that he wants 60/40. And how can we know it is just a negotiation ploy. The worst is, how can we know their real intentions.

There are so many gray areas there that we may never know.

Hatton was the man when they were making the Mayweather fight, in these negotiation's Pacman's the man.

Then are we to assume that there must be two tallies? One for Official worldwide HBO and one that includes UK PPV.

HBO has 850K buys plus add 1,000K UK PPV buys. Is that it? hmmm.... UK is lot bigger than worldwide. UK sells at 14pounds per ppv compared to 55USD. hmmm.... How are we goin to compare then? What would be the official highest PPV buys?

Oops in 3 seconds i found one.

The Ricky Hatton-Floyd Mayweather WBC welterweight showdown 11 days ago in Las Vegas will break all Sky Box Office pay-per-view records in the UK, with estimates as high as 1.2 million buys.

                      Did they break it?

If they did, I presume, it should be included in the official highest PPV buys and by now, we should have learned that it is the 3rd highest PPV at 2.05M just below the DLH-PBF bout that got 2.4M PPV buys.
