Well Arum said " we'll see if we can keep it together, but the split is supposed to be 50-50. We've all agreed to it. Now, people are whispering in Pacquiao's ear."
That implies to me that Pac agreed to it.

Also if Arum was negotiating without Pac's full authorisation to make a decision, and then made an agreement on Pac's behalf without Pac's knowledge, then Arum would be a very bad promoter. Either Arum screwed up or Pac did. Either way Hatton's camp were left with the impression that a contract had been agreed to, so you can't blame them for not budging.

Okay, that was no easy task seeing as how Cotto barely did it.

What fight did you watch? A near shutout and a beating does not constitute close.

And? Is there some kind of shame in losing to the P4P best recognized fighter on the planet at the time? I didn't think so bud.

To be honest, I now think you degrade yourself every time you post on here. Hatton has many options. Both Ricky and Manny need each other to draw the most lucrative payday though. If you don't understand that, you need to go back and watch tapes of both guys fights in the last 3 years. -peace

Degrade myself? Come on Paulie wasnt even a Top P4P fighter, he had a chance to possibly outbox Hatton but was worried to much over what hairstyle he should fight with, and that Lazcano fight was a hometown gift for Hatton. Maybe if he beat Floyd he would have some type of leverage in this.

        On the other hand

Pac named FOTY for 2006 and 2008, beat EM x2, MAB in 2007, beat JMM, obliterated Diaz for a title at 135, then jumped 2 class and beat the Golden Girl into submission, which probably wont be duplicated for a LONG while.

Now tell me, what has Hatton done so spectacular in the last 2-3 years.

These are facts and honestly this split nonsense is ridiculous and I for one want the fight to hurry up and get signed so Pac can dispose of Hatton as well.

bob arum is trying to **** paquiao over just like he did cotto, clottey, and expecially margarito. i don't give a **** about how popular hatton is over seas. they're going to watch and come here for the fight regardless. that does'nt mean that paquiao has to fall fot that 50-50 crap. its 60-40 or no fight.

Then you don't want the fight to happen. But a lot of fight fans do.

This fight is too big for Hatton to say "no" to. I think he gives in to 60-40. He doesn' have as many options as Pacquiao if this fight doesn't materialize.

He does money wise, but that's not what he's after. I think he wants this fight for the sake of once again, fighting the best pound for pound fighter on the planet.

Ricky hardly comes off as a greedy and money hungry person. In fact, he seems the total opposite, as does Manny, but it seems as if the people in their inner circles have other motives.

pac has beaten four of the biggest names in boxing. de la hoya, morales, marquez, and barrera. who has hatton beaten. there is no way that pac should fall for that 50-5- ****. bob arum is a jackass promoter. he's working for de la hoya.

This is a ****ing joke, embarrasing to the sport. I just don't know what Manny/Arum or whoever is playing at. Boxing is struggling atm (I don't care what anyone says, it's the truth) and here they are demanding an extra 60% when they're likely to bring about 25% to the purse.

So say the Manny - Hatton fight doesn't get the go ahead, Floyds already offered Hatton a rematch and with his reported money troubles there's no way in hell he'd turn down Hatton for Pacman. So who does Manny fight? Whoever it is he sure won't make as much as if he'd just accept 50-50.

Manny - Hatton with the winner fighting Mayweather. That's the way it should be, time to stop pissing around and get it signed, i can't stand UFC but atleast you don't get any of this bollocks with greedy fighters.

According to Hatton fans, he has options, but where? He aint moving up to 147, he tried that already and ended up on the canvas. His dominate weight class is at 140 but who is he gonna fight there? Maybe Wittier to clear up the noise that he's been avoiding him.
