You don't make sense. How can it be good business for Pac to walk away from this fight, which he currently seems to be intent on doing? 60% of nothing is nothing. And Roach and Arum are not "arm chair" experts on the internet, they are Pac's trainer and Pac's promoter. And they're both telling Pac to stop being ******, and to sign.In Pro Sports, Money = Respect. Pro Sports is a Business. Pacquiao is doing the "Right thing" for himself now while his on Top coz if he listens to the "arm chair" experts on the internet, those people will not help him if he is "old and poor." Besides, he earn it the "very hard way" whatever accolades and benefits his getting now. No disrespect to Ricky Hatton, but his not known outside Britain so i don't think he and Pacquiao are on equal footing. With regards to U.K. PPV, it's just pure speculation that Hatton can generate that kind of buys(1.5m) wihout a good opponent in the opposite corner.
Hatton has generated more than half a million PPV in every one of his fights in the last 5 years. He wouldn't generate as much in a single fight against anyone else as he would against Pac, but he'd generate far more against a Bradley or Holt than Pac could generate against anyone but Hatton or Mayweather.Comment

We don't know for sure whether Arum is talking **** or Pac is talking ****, but from Hatton's point of view it's the same thing - a deal was agreed and then reneged on. And if Arum's talking ****, Pac should have sacked him by now. That's what Arum said!!!
What Team Pacquiao said is that Manny himself is not present when Arum proposed the 50/50 split. The team have to relay the information to Manny. And even before consulting, promoters are already hammering the 50/50 split.
Now, who's talking **** between the two. We may never know.Comment

I think Pacquiao should instead fight PBF and let Hatton fight someone else if Hatton Camps think that they have more priveledges to dictate the financial terms of the contract. Pacman vs. PBF is more exciting, more intruiging, more financially benificial to both fighters and will be Most Watched than fighting the "spoiled" Hatton.Comment

I agree, Pac should have attended the negotiations if he wanted to be able to overrule his own negotiator. Now, at least you see, that's the problem with negotiation the parties are not sitting down altogether. They pre-negotiate to see what's being laid on the table then haggle the issues remotely. That's how they do it ages ago. Nothing new about it. Just remember the negotiation between PAC-DLH dreammatch.Comment

No Hatton has been on UK PPV for more than five years, and most of his fights in that time have got at least half a million. The total PPV sales against Mayweather were 2.3 million, not 850,000. Where did you get the idea that a dollar that is earned outside the UK is not a dollar? A dollar is a dollar is a dollar.
If that's the case then, we could have read it in the internet news. Granted, there would be revenues in UK PPV. Is that separate for worldwide accounting of PPV's tallied by HBO? If that is the case, then the official tallies that said the highest PPV is between DLH-PBF at 2.4M buys and 2nd highest Tyson-Holyfield at 1.99M buys, won't be true, since you said Hatton-Mayweather is 2.3M buys. So which is which, by the way?
I read it before, "the result of PPV will not be known until for a about a week because HBO would be waiting for international buys to tally". Now, if the tallies includes the sales outside the US, why the UK PPV is not in HBO tally. Just wondering?Comment

Pacquiao should hire Scott Boras to negotiate all of his contracts. He gets the max amount of money for his clients. Pacquiao rightfully deserves 60-40. Hatton has the money but Pacquiao is pound for pound the best in the world. It's just the man exploiting the hard work and sweat of Manny Pacquiao.Comment

The point is that Arum says or at least has very strongly implied that Pac agreed to the 50/50 deal. And if Pac wanted 60/40 he should have said so at the outset. Waiting until a deal has been negotiated and only then saying he wants 60/40 is playing mind games, and Hatton is not being spoilt for refusing to be messed about by underhand tactics like that.I think Pacquiao should instead fight PBF and let Hatton fight someone else if Hatton Camps think that they have more priveledges to dictate the financial terms of the contract. Pacman vs. PBF is more exciting, more intruiging, more financially benificial to both fighters and will be Most Watched than fighting the "spoiled" Hatton.
Pac-Mayweather would be a bigger fight if Pac beats Hatton first, so it would be ****** for him to walk away from this fight in the hope of fighting Mayweather, who he can fight anyway, as long as he beats Hatton.Comment
