Always liked Hatton..good guy..brings out the fan base. But Pacquiao is in a different leaque; his accomplisments much greater IMHO, Pacman should get the lion's share of the purse. If Hatton by some chance beats Pacquiao (doubtful), then next fight Ricky gets the majority money.

Again I doubt Hatton would go back to Welter especially for Cotto. Marquez's plan is to dominate 135 and for Hatton to move down that way would be silly. Oh and by the way Mayweather is RETIRED....

Cotto has 2 fights lined up for 2009 already, so he won't be fighting until the end of the year, at the earliest. And this is assuming he gets past Margarito (which is an idiotic assumption), because believe me, if he doesn't, he will not be in the running to fight Ricky Hatton.

Are you delusional ? He is obsessed with Pacquiao, and would love nothing better than to settle the score with him. This should be obvious by his willingness to take a very small portion of the fight purse in their last fight.

And Floyd Mayweather would not come out of retirement to fight Ricky Hatton again. That rematch makes about as much sense as the Chad Dawson - Tarver rematch.

& wut great acomplishments would that be. All he's fought are mexicans w/ the same stand in front style. Went up 2 weight classes & had a sparring session w/ a human heavy bag. Compare Manny's biggest win to Ricky's & tell me who's accomplishhed more.

Thank you, someone who see's the glass half full rather then half empty. I also think Hatton is a good dude with an incredible fan base, but what has he accomplished in the last 2yrs that is even remotely close to what Pac has done.

Rewind the clock to when Morales beat Pac. Their were no excuses from Pac fans for that lose. Pac admitted that the cut did affect him. Dont forget he avenged that loss 2x with TKO's

I highly doubt Hatton would move back up to 147 especially for Cotto. Cotto has a career to rebuild and a big fight in the summer with Margarito. A slim chance for a Cotto and Hatton clash. Hatton is staying at 140 and its the only weight class he will be dominate at. Where are his options?

I believe we all get a little dumber after reading ur posts. Let's see. We got the winner of the Holt/bradley unification bout. We got Witter. We got cotto. We got Judah. There are fights to Make. We aall know manny is in know rush to fight JMM again. Plus he's tied up. & Manny hasn't even fought anybody @ 35. Manny has to fight alot more people inorder to make the money to fight Ricky. I'm sure the people are gonna be running to the gate to watch manny fight soto. All this mayweather talk is pure speculation. & at this rate where manny is causing stalemates.
