Just beat a second rate opponent in Pensicola and retire on a high note while you can Roy. Most boxing fans don't want to see you KO'd by a guy you would have toyed with 10 years ago.

I agree with the masses that he should hang the gloves up and Play some EA Round 3 Fight Night I know if I felt like crying for him at his last fight then he probably feels 10X worse and that's what is fueling his need to return, but like like DLH\FM\or even shane mosely. He's a good business man, and he can talk the game so he should do something for boxing in another way. Promoter for instance. the guy has the brash and bravado of a likable and respectable Don King, and being a student of the game he wouldn't be apt to rip his fellow combatants off. Not to mention if anyone has seen his ringside announcing, he knows what he's talking about and his natural character makes him fun and entertaining to listen to. The association to Don King is probably a bad one, but he was the only one I could think of at the time with a big personality like Roy.

roy shouldve retired right after the 1st tarver fight. his body wasnt taking the sudden weight loss well and his reflexes were slowing down. if you watch the fight i think tarver won the fight and im a rjj fan.

I'm one of Roy's biggest fans and would love to see him continue fighting but that beating he took was both embarrassing and sad. I know he's still got the physical ability to fight but his heart and mind have been missing since 2003. Please retire Roy...it's time.
