People always talk about how great he might have been. But do you really think he'd have beaten Archie Moore, Bob Foster or Michael Spinks? Get the fu(k out of here. Roy Jones wasn't even the greatest light heavyweight and it's not that close. He had a good career and some good wins, but he never dominated boxing.

Roy...Roy...Roy...! Why?Yes you were the man in your day,but at your best there are fighters that you ducked.( maybe just for business reasons)You had the opportunity to redeem yourself against Tarver in the third fight, but what did you do?You fought like a *****.You had the chance to become that boxing god again against Calzaghe, but what did you do?Scared to go blow for blow with the man and allowed him to humiliate you.I didn't see a shot fighter that night.I saw a heartless fighter. You've always won your fights with your ability. But when you had to dig deep like all the great ones do,you lose!!You will not beat any top contender with your reflexes and ability anymore. If you're not willing to fight on heart and experience...RETIRE! Or do you need the money?

Roy is my favorite fighter, but he needs to sit his azz down somewhere. I put a prime Roy in against anybody from any era and would favor him to win, but his prime was long ago. The desire to go out on top must be more addictive than heroin, but like most you will never be as high as the first time he tried it so just give it up. Roy, Big George and Tyson should start a boxing network and commentate on all the fights. They would probably be the 3 best commentators in the history of the sport. They tell it like it is. One thing I like about Roy losing is he never degrades his opponets after a loss.

People can say what they want. Sweet Pea Whitaker was the fighter of the '90s. He got robbed in his fights against Chavez and DLH, but he was better and consistently fought better opposition than RJJ.
