I have been a fan of both for a while, and i admired them both. however it seems to me that a lot of mayweather fans like to discredit his achievments, because he is getting more attention and recognition as p4p fighter. Is pacs success undermining floyd.
Is Pacquiao success underming Floyds

Hell yeah. With Pacquiao's recent mega super status, Floyd has no choice but to return. Nobody is really talking about Floyd anymore so you know that's eating him inside. -
no.
Only idiots and haters think so. Pac is his own man and should get credit for his own legacy.
And Floyd fans that feel threatened by putting Pac down are idiots. Same goes vice versa.Comment

People are talking about him to be fair, Pacquiao is a great fighter and I take nothing from him. However saying Mayweather is unrecognized and nobody talks about him anymore I disagree with... his name is in most of the threads on this forum and there is loads of speculation about him trying to return to boxing (which some of them are supposed to be lies). I think people like Pacquiao more than Floyd so they give him more credit... I mean Pacquiao deserves credit he is a good fighter, Mayweather over shined Pacquiao when he was fighting, now Mayweather has retired Pacquiao is getting recognition.
As for Mayweather fans discrediting Pacmans fights, I am a Floyd fan... and I am not discrediting his fights, and some Pacman fans try to discredit Floyd success all the same... it goes two ways from different people and should be ignored because the real boxing fans don't do it.Comment

To be fair thats more because of Oscar than Pacman.
It's hard to give credit for someone beating that Oscar, sorry if you think thats wrong but honestly thats how I feel.
If the Oscar that fought Floyd turned up and got stopped i would be the first to **** the Pacman drum, but I see poster after poster saying Hatton gets KO'd easily usually in less rounds than PBF did.
There is nothing real and concrete that would say Pacman has the power to stop ANY 140lb fighter much less one that has only been KO'd once by a guy fighting a division above him with the same or arguable better skills and a damn site more power than Pacman.
I have pacman to win, I credit him with no1 P4P but some of the predictions are frankly ludicrous.Comment
