The reason I'm asking this queston is because years ago I tried to get into amateur boxing. I managed to get a amateur license though the internet without knowing anybody that knows anything about boxing. However once I got it, I didn't know what to do with it. No boxing gyms around here, nothing. I didn't know how to find amateur fights or sign up for a tournament....Nothing.

And it's not like I'm gonna move and quit my job just to find a gym in another town or city. So now I just wanna turn pro ASAP and get it out of my system hopefully and get on with my life.......LOL.
my advice, get down to a gym, advise them you wanna compete, train hard, fight as an amateur a few times and then try your luck as a pro

In the old days, a pug who couldn't find a job got into boxing and started fighting every other week to earn a living. I realize thats not how boxing is anymore. It's alot harder now but still not the equivelant of a aspiring basketball player wanting to go into the NBA and make alot of money.

And gues what PUTO. I'm not looking for any money so that should clear it up. I don't have to earn it if I'm willing to fight for free. Only reward I would get from it is to say that I did it. I.E Boxrec.com
lol man 98% of boxers make **** or average money, believe me there aint another sport thats harder to make top dollar in
