What's the quickest way to become a professional boxer?

I don't have a background but I have trained and sparred before in this gym they used to have, I pretty much know all the basic funementals. I'm pretty sure I'd beat a 1-13 bum. Unless he has been losing to world class competition that many times, he aint getting by me......but that's not the point.
It's not like I'm looking for a career here, just one fight to say I did it. I'm not a dreamer, I know the reality of boxing.
I think what I'm asking for might be available in Mexico..lol. I heard they give a license and let fight pretty much anybody down there, including 16 year olds. Not that hard to get a fight there I think.
every state has their own boxing commission. look up the number for it on google and give them a call. or go up to the place. you'll have to pay a fee for your license, a physical, and your gear. then the local promoter they refer u to will set up a fight with a no name for ya. you'll get paid $200 a round, (thats the least amount a professional fighter can make) and thats it. It sounds like you don't respect the sport but hey that's cool.I don't have a background but I have trained and sparred before in this gym they used to have, I pretty much know all the basic funementals. Depending on where you live, you can probably contact a trainer of some prospect near your hometown who has ties to a promoter at a local show . I am sure they'd put you on a card to be easy meat for someone building a record.
Let us know how it goes.
Let us know where you live and that would help a ton.
You know you can get in amateur shows with a crowd, it's basically the same thing unless you want your history to be recorded in boxrec to tell your grandkids or some **** like that.Last edited by Guest; 01-14-2009, 12:26 AM.Comment

Well I specified that for you if you read.haha. I told you what to do, there isn't no 50 amateur experience, just get your stuff together and go down and do it.It makes perfect sense. Brief Summary: An average Joe with no previous official experience in boxing amateur or professonal is asking if there is a way to turn pro and get a fight professionally. Even if he gets paid nothing as long as it's an official fight.
Pretty simple.Comment
