Does Erik Morales have higher quality wins than Tito Trinidad??
The reason im askin is that throughout the years it at least seems that whenever someone has a top 50 list Trinidad is higher then Morales..Quite honestly im not so sure if he should be or not..I personally think that even though Morales is considered all time great [by everyone] i still say that he's probably the most underated boxer in the last 30yrs..especially achievement wise. Alot of u guys have a better knowledge of both fighters so i wanted to know who has fought and defeated the better fighters?

Go watch a youtube video called Trinidad's 10 best wins (every video the creator has put out like that is just tight by the way) and Morales's 10 best wins, and boxrec each of their opponents to see what they achieved.

I'm a big Morales fan, and... I definitely think Trinidad has the better resume.

        100% true.

How good was David Reid in the pros? Not very...

How good would he have been had he not fought Trinidad? Well that's up to speculation, but most people seem to think that he was truly the next big thing in boxing.

how much did the "hand wraps" stories contribute to tito best wins?
did he do that later in his career? or in his heyday?

I was thinking about it. Obviously Trinidad ruined Vargas's chin, but...

I think the real tragedy of Fernando Vargas is that he could not find a style that accented his strengths and minimized his weaknesses (like Jermain Taylor as well). He was too big and slow to be a super slick hit and don't be hit guy, but... he also was a bit too tentative to be a truly wreckless killer.

Even though he won very clearly in the Quartey fight, I still saw that he wasn't exactly thrilled with having to counterpunch.

He just couldn't seem to find what he needed in order to be truly great.

That said, Vargas is obviously a completely badass name to have on your resume, especially an undefeated Vargas.
