Why such hate for mma/ufc from boxing fans?

I dont get it. The ones that bash it and claim that its a gay/unskilled/bar room brawl type of sport, seem to be the ones who are most concerned and constantly complain about it. Why constantly complain about something that you consider a "**** sport"? I posted a thread regarding its record breaking year, and how it may effect boxing (for the better), and all i got is a bunch of whiney men complaining and giving me red k. If i were postly solely about UFC, then i would expect the usual "take it to the mma forum" posts, but my thread was intended to draw opinions on the current state, and future of boxing, given UFC's achievements of last year.

I dont like golf, but im not gonna go out of my way to bash it if i dont like it. If i can give two ****s about it, why waste my time bashing it? Some u men here need to stop acting like little twats, and man up. The only explanation for that type of behavior is insecurity. Im a boxing fan before im an mma/ufc fan, but truth be told, boxing has been taking a big dump on its fans over the past few years. Its getting quite hard to defend a sport that doesnt look after the fans who've made it what it is. Hopefully our sport will show more appreciation for us fans in this upcoming year.

Dana White comes from boxing and now wants to destroy boxing.
Biggest payday in MMA history is 500 000.In boxing 40 million,and then morons says MMA is new sport.I think MMA is dying slow death.Look at Chute Boxe(they lost Anderson Silva,Wandarlei Silva,Rua brothers almost all team).
Look at team Miletich(they lost Hughes,Sylvia,Lawler and everyone else).
Only team is worth mentioning is ATT and Greg Jackson s team but ATT s owner is millioner and thats why team still exist.
MMA fans should accept that they will never make money as boxers and thats a fact.WWF fighter who is on steroid 24/7 Brock Lesnar is best MMA fighter today.MMA SUCKS!

Dana White does not come from boxing. He is a fat bald ****ing ugly douche liar. He is a former boxercise instructor. An aerobics guy. He trained in boxing I'm sure, but comes from boxing? Yeah, whatever.

Fine post. I have to say though, boxing has to find a way to cater to the younger fanbase. Take a 16-23yr old. What do u think he's more interested in watching. A technical boxing match, or a all out brawl where one fighter is most likely going to end up KO'd on the ground? Boxing needs to make boxing more exciting! Good exciting fights in boxing are too few and too far apart. U might get a good matchup this month, then have to wait 4 months for another one. Its frustrating.

I argue the same point about the fanbase as well. Some people have come back to me and said "boxing isn't for young people". I find that hard to believe considering I started following it when I was thirteen. However, I can imagine that with belts becoming more irrelevant and big matchups becoming few and far between at times, that it would be hard to get into initially.

If fighter is in UFC 1 minute on the ground and not that active the judge make them to get up and box.
DANA WHITE is biggest moron ever.Babalu,Ortiz,and Arlovski go to other organization and DANA says they sucks as a fighters.
He says FEDOR fought nobody and that FEDOR would get killed in UFC,and then FEDOR woop former 2 time UFC champ in less then a minute!
I dont like UFC but AFFLICTION is kind a cool but you cannot compare that to boxing.
