That is BS. Manny Pacquiao has sold decently-to-solidly on PPV. Ricky Hatton has never sold a PPV. The only PPV fight Hatton has ever appreared on was with Mayweather. All of Hatton's other fights were on WCB. In fact, just within the past year, Hatton was fighting on Versus. Hatton sells a live gate. Not PPV.


Manny deserves the bigger share. Hatton should win this fight...but Manny deserves the bigger share.

Thsi is a US domestic fight with HBO Boxing broadcast rights. The fight is in Vegas. Not Wembley.

For example: Will Smith releases a movie. Paramount pays him $20 million, and 5% of the domestic gross. They then structure a DIFFERENT pay arrangement for the international revenues (i.e, 20% of foreign receipts). That is similar to the way the boxing business is run.

If Hatton thinks that he deserves 50/50, then let him go find ANYONE else to fight to make remotely the amount of money he would vs. Pac. I guarantee you that there is no shortage of PPV opponents/candidates for Manny.
