Besides, Manny is probably the most humbe person in the sport, so I doubt anything is 'going to his head'.

Every fighter is involved in decisions they make in their career when they are on the level Pacquiao is on. He isn't a slave to a company. I would understand if he was just coming up but he is a well established fighter now. If he wants Cleto Reyes gloves in the fight.. his people will fight for him to get Cleto Reyes gloves. If he wants more money, that's what his people will do. Now if he is being persuaded by his people to go for more and he is buying into their ****, that's his own damn fault too for not having a mind of his own.

Its a damn shame about some of these fighters.That's what 's killing boxing.Greed.If this fight does not happen, it will truly be a loss for the boxing fan.It would be such an exciting fight.I'm not a huge Hatton fan, but I think his aggressive style gives Manny fits.Manny and his team knows this as well.Maybe that's why 50-50 is a problem.Ok, go 60-40 and the winner gets the bigger purse.Truth be told,Mayweather beats the crap out of both of them.Like him or not,styles make fights.Floyd's defense is too much for both of them and he would counter and pick them both apart.Who would get the bigger purse against him?Its a possibility that none of these fights take place.

Well besides that one, I also think a third fight with Marquez would be a huge fight, an even bigger one than the first two combined with what both fighters have accomplished since last meeting.

A Cotto fight, though unlikely, is still very possible, regardless of the outcome of his next two fights.

Even a Margarito fight, which is a horrible matchup for Manny, but still not out of the question, would be a mega event.


Basically everyone from 147 on down would be more than willing to take a fight with the Pound for Pound King, and there are enough big names out there that fall into that category to make a few different blockbuster events.
