50/50 split is very reasonable. also Hatton is the champ at 140 and pacman is the challenger. since when does the challenger make more than the champ. both hav huge fan bases so a 50/50 split is very reasonable

who cares? we sound like a bunch of ****** floyd fans.

i don't care who takes the lesser pay just as long as they fight.
What's this "we" ****? Seems like you want to isolate/ostracize Mayweather ****riders as the only hysterical, OTT, irrational, nutlicking group of fanboys on this forum, like Pac's or Calzaghe's or Cotto's or whoever's ballsuckers aren't all equally as ridiculous in their own 'special' ways --- like, "hey, I had an idea, all us non-*****s should behave good and stick together and all think alike so we can all act holier than thou when chatting our nitpicking, selfish bull**** behind our barely concealed resentment for one fighter".

We've established you don't think it's important who the bigger draw is and who gets more money...but that's what this thread is about, who should get more money. Preach the Gospel in the thread you made about why we shouldn't care, instead of ramming your sermon down everybody's throat ad nauseum like you're some ringleader for true boxing values.

yeah, but pac took a smaller purse split against oscar and hatton is in gbp stable.

ummmmmm there's a reason for that....1st off UK's currency ****s on all countries... and Philippines is a poor country, people there going to Vegas is the last thing on their agenda...only the rich and famous from the PI can attend Manny's fights while u have regular blokes in the UK going to each and every Hatton fight..

Come on Pacman is massively popular but he doesn't have the PAYING fan base like Hatton does. This is the key point. 20,000 Brits will likely fly to Vegas and fill the casino's and arena. This fight will most likely do under 1 million PPV buys in the States but could well do up to 2 million PPV buys in the UK.

With Hatton bringing so much money to this fight how the hell can he be expected to take a 60-40 split? It's crazy!!

My PPV estimates are based on Mayweather v Hatton doing 900k in the States and around 1.6 mill in the UK. I believe DLH V Pac did around 1.25 mill in the States. So it is hard to see Pac v Hatton can do over a mill in the States when they were both the secondary draw in fights that averaged just over 1 mill.

In the UK however Hattons popularity grew after the Mayweather fight and the chance to see Hatton fight the p4p 1 for a second time, when that fighter has just knocked out DLH makes it a mouth watering clash. It is hard to measure but I feel DLH and Pac could both be more popular in the UK than floyd.

Outside of England, who cares about Hatton? Unless he fight a big name, he can't get a PPV event. Pacquiao can fight a nobody and be on PPV.

Just look at all the treads here on boxingscene.com about Pac, everybody is talking about him, that's not the case for Hatton.

Everybody want to fight him, Mayweather, Cotto, Berto, Margarito, Holt and JMM. Who want to fight Hatton?

Unless you are biased, you know Pac is the biggest draw. He deserve a bigger share, period.

Hatton is the bigger draw here because of his english fanbase and his fight against Mayweather. Hatton can draw atleast 20,000 as shown against Castillo and brought in (was it 1 million) PPV buys in the UK whereas Pacquiao does around 300,000 against opponents like Marquez, Barrera.
                      50-50 seems fair.
