Yeah, it really doesn't matter who is better. Hatton does put bums in seats for sure.
It's quite amazing the loyalty and spending power of his fans to go anywhere and fill up huge soccer stadiums to watch him fight.
He's a boxing financial miracle.

I really hope this fight doesn't get trashed because of money issues. I think 50-50 is more than fair; Hatton is a big name in the U.S too, and if they'd of had the fight in the UK they could've got 100, 000 to watch live in a stadium before ticket-sales are even considered. There will be so many PPV purchases in the U.K that the money will be huge for both fighters, anything more than 50% each is just greedy. Pacquiao's always been respectable in the past and I hope he continues the trend, sharing the purse.

You're right. People buy ****. They've been buying DLH for years past his prime. People spent a ton on a faded Tyson. So what?

Hatton happens to be a moneymaker.

That's the way the world works.
There is plenty of people who don't make enough money. There's plenty of people who make too much who don't deserve it.

Both these guys are good and it should be very profitable for both of them.

This part is just negotiations. You just don't take anything that is thrown at you.
You don't take a job for 30k a year when you may get 50. this is part of the game.
