Even though Floyd isn't the number 1 rated WW, i still think a win over him at 147 would be the most impressive over anybody else.

Marg beat Cotto to be the number 1 at 147. Mosley beat Marg to take that spot, yet Cotto beat Mosley so the number 1 spot has not been justified in my opinion. Only a rematch between Cotto/Mosley will determine that for me, unless Clottey scuppers the plan and beats Cotto.

My point is, at the moment, Welterweight does not have a definite champ. A win over any of Cotto/Mosley/Mayweather/Clottey (im leaving Marg out for now) will put you in contention, but until the number 1 and 2 face each other (Cotto+Mosley??), i think a win over Mayweather will impress me most.

a payday against a name fighter

as for your Hatton arguement it has a lot of holes but to be honest I dont want some HUGE ass reply like you were Mel Gibson trying to convince Julia Roberts that there are monsters in your closet
