i'd say, a when over the bernard hopkins, the teacher, would mean a lot more.

Because they are all career welterweights and resumes more impressive then
          Floyds at Welterweight.

So why would a win over floyd would be better than a Win over Margarito at WW. If Margarito resume is better than Floyds and Floyd didnt fight nobody?

"And I don't think Mayweather can make 135 anymore without affecting himself, he can definitely fight at 140 though."

Floyd walks around at 150, and so you cant say he cant fight at Jr.Lightweight, Lightweight, and Junior Welterweight.....

If Margarito, Cotto, Williams, Clottey, and Hatton can walk around at 20-40 pounds above there fighting weight and still fight at their divisions...I think Floyd can do the same....
Because he has shown he can perform at a high level at 147 and he was the best in the world, he retired unbeaten and has been fighting at welterweight for the last couple of years so he's a bona fide welterweight now, a win over him at 147 would definitely be a very good win.

Mayweather is 146-150 pounds of muscle, losing 15 pounds of that can affect him badly, Jones lost about 20 pounds of muscle and hasn't been the same since. The rest of the guys normally put fat on which is much easier to lose than muscle. Mayweather stays in fighting shape in between fights, he doesn't let himself balloon up, I'd think if he let himself go, he'd be walking around at 165 as well.

I think, for the 1 billion time, a fight against anyone mentioned, would give Mayweather more credit at 147.
            Does he need it? Maybe...

He should pursue the long awaited superfight with Balrog at a catchweight of 164

The only two I can see beating Mayweather are Margarito and Clottey.
                    Cotto...Please.
SMM... Had his chance, but not now.

Margarito.... Better start the game early.
Clottey... Would be a hell of a fight.

Well a win over Mayweather would mean alot whether its at 147 or not simply because Mayweather is a BIG name, People would try to play down that fact.
