Has he worked harder than ANYBODY else who fights professionally? No, not really. How do you compare his fighting heart to someone like Holyfield, who still wants to fight? Holyfield has had a WAY more grueling career than Mayweather will ever have and STILL he is testing himself against younger competition. Safe to say Mayweather is SOFT like his knuckles... ****in Soft.

Mayweather is a joke. He went out like a chick. Look at history, ALL of the true Legends fought until they did not have it... This Fraud is all about "looking" like the best but not actually BEING the best.

Floyd lost the "desire" when he realized how close he came to losing against an ancient Oscar De La Hoya. He knew he wasn't as good as he said he was.

How are you as a fan, in any position to judge a fighter, who has dedicated his entire life to the sport, when he says "enough is enough"? Sure you don't have to like him as a person or a fighter, but respect what the man wants to do with his life. He's bored of boxing. He wants to try something different while he's still young, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Whats the point in letting boxing retire him when he can retire from boxing . It's pointless , he is already the best fighter of his era and anybody below him are bums anyway . I would want to be remembered by a spectacular ko like the one against Hatton than getting beat washed up and over the hill

Floyd Mayweather is an all time great level TALENT, but as he hasn't faced anyone recently he was expected to lose to and defeat them, people will not recognise him as such.

Most fighters do give their entir elives for the sport... DLH too, has given his ENTIRE LIFE to the sport.. but unlike FLoyd, he is NOT running from challenges. Your logic swallows.

By your argument, since I am not Ray Leonard or Duran, I should not be able to call it as I see it? Floyd went out like the insecure punk that he has proven to be.. He only wanted to fight guys like Gatti, lil Hatton or ancient Oscar. He proved to be ALL talk. He is a DISGRACE. Why is it that of all the greats that Floyd puts down , not one of them went out like a ***** with a tarnished 0 hidden in their closet? Floyd knows he lost already to Castillo, he knows the fight with Oscar exposed his ability to take a punch to his face all night while trying that rope a dope ****. Floyd is OVERRATED until PROVEN otherwise.

Floyd, grab your balls and fight real fights. You left at least 5 of them on the table *****.

You obviously still have sour g****s about Floyd not fighting Cotto. But you should take it like a blessing... I mean you'd rather him not fight Cotto than Floyd fighting him and beating him... At least you still keep that little glimmer of hope in yourself that Cotto could beat Floyd. You can continue living in dream land this way.

Floyd will be remembered as a coward. Media even rank Morales and Barrera above him on ATG list.
