It's obvious that Pavlik lowballed Williams because Pavlik was afraid of him. All Pavlik needed to do if he really wanted to fight was make an offer Williams deserved. Instead, he made an offer that was insulting.

Williams hasn't beaten anybody with a pulse at 154 or 160. Williams is nothing special, he can only be successful picking on smaller fighters at 147. He has a huge height (6'3) and reach (82") advantage over all the small men he faces at 147/154. He has longer reach than the Klitschko brothers (Wlad 81", Vitali 80"). Paul "the coward" Williams should move up and pick on someone his own size.

Lol, and yet he wonders why Arum didn't make the fight. Williams is a joke, if he thinks he deserved more when he hadn't done nothing after the Margarito win but lose and go on a low tier fight streak. Williams avoided, thats the biggest joke around.

That's far from what actually happened. Willaims wanted 2.5. Arum offered Williams 1.5, then lowered it to 1.2 and then went back up to 1.5. Williams only wanted 1.8, 300 more.

Pavlik's biggest payday was 3 million for the Hopkins fight. If they would have given Williams his 1.8, Pavlik would have made 3.8, the biggest payday of his career and it would have been on regular HBO. Rick wrote about it last year.

Bitter? I personally give Williams all the credit in the world but what I don't like is Paul's 4 or 5 fans calling Margarito a coward even though he was the only Welterweight to give him a title shot. Not Cotto, Not Floyd, Not Mosely, Not Cintron, and Not Clottey.

All those meaningful fighters in the best division in boxing and the only one with the stones to fight the guy was Tony. Paul Williams fans should be greatful instead of trying to discredit the guy who gave your fighter an actual ***ing name on his resume.
